I am focused on evidence-based rehabilitation and regularly do research to ensure that I am updated with the latest research regarding effective treatment. I walk the extra mile for each patient and highly value patient relationships. I also value patient-education very highly and want to empower each patient with the knowledge that they can use throughout their lifetime.
Biokinetics include a wide range of services, such as orthopaedic rehabilitation, clinical condition treatment and management, sport-specific conditioning, wellness and weight-loss, as well as corporate wellness.
Your first appointment will be an initial consultation to establish what steps need to be taken to provide effective treatment. Objective data will be gathered in order to track progress during the rehabilitation period. Quality service will be provided to each patient.
A Biokineticist is a highly trained healthcare professional who specializes in the science of human movement and rehabilitation. For your initial consultation, please bring any relevant medical records, a list of current medications, and any referral letters if applicable.
I offer both in-person and virtual consultations to accommodate your needs. Please contact me to discuss which option is best for you.
A session is 45 - 60 minutes.
This is a cash practice, which means that after you have made the payment of the sessions (via EFT payment or card machine), I will provide a medical aid statement to you, which you can use to claim back from your medical aid.

An initial consultation that includes a thorough medical history, baseline body composition measurements, goal-setting, and an evidence-based Individualised exercise program prescription
Corporate presentations, workshops, exercise sessions, as well as corporate wellness days
Rehabilitation will focus on either preparing the patient's body for an upcoming operation and/or helping the patient to return to the pre-operative physical state in terms of strength, flexibility, and cardiorespiratory fitness
Wellness days include Discovery Vitality Fitness Assessments and/or Wellness Events
I am a driven and determined young professional who has a passion for helping people through evidence-based movement and promoting living an active lifestyle. I want to help people improve their quality of life and reach their full potential. I am a firm believer in identifying the cause of a condition and/or injury in order to provide effective treatment. My passion for movement started when I was a teenager and experienced first-hand how exercise improved my quality of life. I enjoy doing strength training, running, as well as hiking. Our bodies were designed to move and to be cared for. Movement should be pain-free. I believe that the correct movement heals and that exercise truly is medicine.

When we are consistently physically active, our bodies age at a slower rate and we remain independent, functional and pain-free for a longer period of time. If there is anything that prevents you from remaining physically active, such as an injury or chronic pain, or even being unsure of how to be physically active, I want to help you.
